Today, we’ll explore the Côte d´Azur and the Mediterranean coast of France. We’ll spend a short time in Nice to enjoy the Promenade des Anglais (Walkway of the English) and other sights of interest. Next, we’ll head to Sainte-Maxime, a charming coastal town where we’ll stroll through its port and historic center, highlighted by the 16th-century the Square Tower. From there, we’ll take a tourist boat across the beautiful bay to Saint-Tropez, where we’ll be able to see some of the world’s most luxurious yachts in the old fishing port. We’ll have time to stroll and have lunch. Our journey will then continue to Marseille, France’s second-largest city, to visit the vibrant Vieux-Port (Old Port).

Marseille - Arles - Avignon - Lyon

Villages, landscapes, history – today we’ll see some of the most beautiful places in Provence. In Arles, a UNESCO World Heritage city, we’ll explore its Roman and medieval legacy and be reminded of Van Gogh. In Les Baux, we’ll visit this small medieval village and include admission to Carrières de Lumières, an impressive underground show that combines art, image, and sound in its old quarries. We’ll have time for lunch and a stroll in Avignon, home to the immense Palais des Papes. Our journey will continue to Lyon, where we’ll walk through the World Heritage Site old town and take the cable car up to Notre-Dame de Fourvière, a huge basilica offering a great view over the city.Note: If tickets for the Carrières de Lumières show are unavailable due to closure or high demand, we will instead transfer to the Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard.

Lyon - Tournus - Savigny castle - Beaune - Dijon

We’ll set off from Lyon and head to the Burgundy region. Our first stop will be Tournus, a quaint little town with an imposing stone gate and a large abbey. After that, we’ll travel to Beaune, where we’ll have time for lunch and to explore the wine capital of Burgundy. We recommend visiting the wine museum or the historic hospice. Next, we’ll visit the Savigny Castle, situated in the heart of this winemaking region. Built in the 15th century, the castle houses extraordinary museums featuring motorbikes, racing cars, planes, and helicopters. Our journey will continue to Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, known for its lively streets and numerous medieval and Renaissance buildings, including the standout Palace of the Dukes.

Dijon - Abbey of fontenay - Semur en auxois - Vezelay - Paris

We’ll leave Dijon for Fontenay Abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we’ll include admission to this Cistercian center. Afterward, we’ll stop in Semur-en-Auxois, a medieval city surrounded by impressive ancient walls. Still in Burgundy, we’ll have time for lunch and a stroll in Vézelay, one of France’s most beautiful villages, where its immense basilica was one of the starting points of the Way of St. James. In the afternoon, we’ll continue our route to Paris, arriving in the evening.

Paris - Tours

We go to the center of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to go up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. At 17:30 hrs. we leave Paris for the Loire Valley. TOURS, arrival in the evening to the capital of the Loire, where we recommend you having a walk and dinner in its beautiful historic center.Note: in some cases the waits to go up the Eiffel Tower are long. Thus the climb may take place at a different time (or on Sunday), if it is considered convenient for organizational reasons.

Tours - Bordeaux - Lourdes

Today we’ll journey to the south of France through vineyards, arriving in Bordeaux, whose town center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have time for lunch and to explore. We suggest visiting the Port of the Moon and the Cathedral of St. Andrew. We’ll then continue towards the Pyrenees, reaching Lourdes in the late afternoon. Here, you can attend the candlelight procession (held from late March to the end of October) and visit various places of worship. Dinner will be included at the hotel for all our passengers.

Lourdes - Roncesvalles - Pamplona - Madrid

We’ll depart early from Lourdes, crossing the Pyrenees with their high peaks and stunning landscapes. Following the Way of St. James, we’ll arrive in Roncesvalles to see the beautiful Gothic Collegiate Church of Santa María. In Pamplona, famous for its bull runs, you’ll have time for lunch. Our journey will continue to Olite, where the 13th-century castle, once the residence of the kings of Navarra, will definitely catch your attention. We’ll then proceed to Madrid, arriving around 9:00 p.m.
