The property denied any relation with Expedia. I could not stay at this location and that is the reason I booked Taj Deccan the same date. Pls look into it and process my refund. I’m not able to get in touch with Expedia.

Lobby filled with cigarette smell, 1 out of 3 rooms which I booked didn’t meet expectations, faucet wasn’t working, room wasn’t serviced before I checked-in, have to ask for toiletries the moment I checked-in. Breakfast buffet could’ve been better for 3-star rated property.

Most of the historical attractions are situated in the old city. For an insight into the contemporary cultural landscape of the city, do visit Lamakaan where various theater group perform. Hyderabad has a culture that is distinct from the rest of Andhra Pradesh, showing Islamic influences and a courtly presence imparted from its period as the capital of the Nizamate. This is more evident in the old city. The new city resembles many provincial state capitals in India. Secunderabad is more cosmopolitan, as the Cantonment area is located in this part of the city.
