Quenzon City Philippines

Quezon City is the most populous city in the Philippines. It is one of the cities that make up Metro Manila, the National Capital Region of the Philippines. It is the largest city in Metro Manila in terms of land area and most populated local government unit in the country. Quezon City is the site of many government offices, including the Batasang Pambansa Complex, which is the seat of the House of Representatives. Quezon City also holds the University of the Philippines Diliman, the national university, and Ateneo de Manila University. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS • Quezon Memorial Circle. A national park and shrine bounded by the Elliptical Road. At its center is a mausoleum containing the remains of Manuel L. Quezon, the second President of the Philippines. The Park surrounding the shrine is one of the few green lungs in the city, and is a haven for joggers and bikers alike. • Mabuhay Rotonda. • Tandang Sora Birth Site. Known as "Tandang Sora".
