This hotel was not very clean and stank like cigarette smoke. I could not get past the smell which was awful and everywhere.
The rooms were large but not comfortable, the bed was spring-y, and I saw visible dirt on the couch. I ended up leaving and switching hotels. Staff felt bad and helped me get a cab.

کیگالی, روآنداکگالی پایتخت ملی رواندا است که در مرکز کشور قرار دارد و جمعیتی حدود ۸۵۱.۰۲۴ نفر دارد. این شهر در سال ۱۹۰۷ در دوران کنترل آلمان تأسیس شد و پس از کسب استقلال در سال ۱۹۶۲ به پایتخت کشور تبدیل شد. قبل از استقلال در سال ۱۹۶۲، بلژیک کشور را از پایتخت کنونی بوروندی، بوجومبورا، اداره می‌کرد. پایتخت سنتی رواندا مقر پادشاه موامی در نیانزا بود و قدرت استعماری مقر خود را در بوتاره داشت که در آن زمان آستریدا نامیده می‌شد. با استقلال، کگالی به دلیل موقعیت جغرافیایی‌اش در مرکز کشور انتخاب شد. از آنجا که کگالی پایتخت رواندا است، جمعیت آن به طور قابل توجهی افزایش یافته است. تعداد جمعیت در دهه شصت حدود ۵۰۰۰ نفر بود.
