Kano, Nigeria

Kano is the largest city in northern Nigeria, and it is also the third largest in the country, behind Lagos and Ibadan. As the capital of the state with the same name, it has a population of 3,927,003 inhabitants. The city is walled, and most of its buildings are made of clay. The industrial activity is based on the production of peanuts, leather goods, metal items, and cotton.
