Day 1: Sunday / Arrival In Panama City
Arrival at the International Airport of Panamá City.
Welcome by your guide. Transfer and installation at your hotel.

Day 2: Monday / Panama City: Full Day City Tour With Panama Canal
Breakfast at the hotel.
You will start the day with a panoramic visit of the Amador Causeway, with a photo stop at the Biomuseum, designed by the famous architect Franck Gehry.
Departure for the Fish Market (Mercado de Mariscos) where you will taste a delicious ceviche made from fresh fish, lemon and onions.
Discover the colonial district called Casco Viejo (classified World Heritage Site by Unesco). Walk through the streets of this charming neighborhood: churches, Plaza de Francia (view on the modern city), Bolivar Square, and many others.
Lunch at a local restaurant in the heart of Casco Viejor.
Visit of the Miraflores Locks, where you can observe the transit of ships through the locks.
Return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon.

On the Plaza de France, we'll taste a raspado, a refreshing drink made from water, crushed ice and syrup, often sold by street vendors. It’s a refreshment very appreciated by the locals.

Day 3: Tuesday / Gatun Lake Embera Wounaan Indigenous Community
Breakfast at the hotel.
Sailing for an approach to the small islands surrounding Lake Gatun, including the famous Isla Mono to observe many species of monkeys. Part of the journey on the Panama Canal, where with a bit of luck one can come across huge container ships.
Departure for an excursion to the native world. After a short boat crossing.
You are welcomed by the community to learn about their way of life.
Lunch in the community.
Then, head to the forest to discover the use of plants for feeding, healing and clothing (accompanied by your English-speaking guide and a member of the tribe). Finally, presentation of their traditional dances. You can also buy souvenirs from their crafts.
Return to the hotel mid-afternoon.

Day 4: Wednesday / Fort San Lorenzo Portobelo
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart for the Caribbean coast where you will discover the majestic Fort San Lorenzo, a vestige of Panama's past. The ruins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, overlook the Caribbean Sea.
You will then travel to the walled city of Portobelo, perched on the Caribbean Sea coast.
Delicious Afro-Antillean lunch in a local restaurant.
We continue with a visit to the Church of the Black Christ, a place of pilgrimage, and visit the Portobelo Museum, which contains important historical documents.

Day 5: Thursday / Panama City / La Valle Di Anton / Santa Clara
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for El Valle de Anton, a small mountain village located in the crater of an extinct volcano. This village is well known for its handicraft market as well as its cool and sunny climate.
You can admire Chorro el Macho, an almost 30-metre waterfall whose water, according to legend, is blessed. You will discover another part of the jungle and observe many species of birds.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Stroll through the Mercado de Artesania, rich in Panamanian handicrafts.
Mid-afternoon departure for Santa Clara. Installation at the hotel.
