Lovely hotel conveniently located

Lovely hotel about 5mins to a shopping centre and just a bit further to the main shopping area which has the train station at the end of the street. The double room we had was very clean which was serviced every day and the bathroom had a hairdryer. There was also slippers and bathrobe. There is a kettle and bottled water in the room but there was only 2 tea bags (Herbal & Green Teas) and sugar. If you want other types of tea and Coffee and/or milk, I would advise you take your own. There is a fridge filled with all sorts which you have to pay for but it would be ok to keep your milk in. Breakfast has plenty of choice both hot and cold and there is a hot drinks machine to serve yourself. I would certainly stay there again if I were to visit Zilina.

Carpet was strained in many places. Our neighbor said there were spiders in his bed. We ordered queen bed but upon arrival were told there was only 2 twin beds are available.

Zilina, Slovakia

Žilina is a natural centre of north-western Slovakia and with a population of 84 604 inhabitants (as per December 31, 2010) it ranks among the largest cities in Slovakia. Its geographic location is 49°15' of north latitude and 18°45' of east longitude and it lies at an altitude of 333 metres above sea level. Žilina is situated around 200 km from Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Žilina is located in the valley of the Váh river, in the Žilina Basin, at the confluence of the Váh river with its tributaries Kysuca and Rajčanka. The Žilina Basin is surrounded by the mountain ranges of Malá Fatra (Lesser Fatra), Strážovské vrchy (Strážov Hills), Súľovské vrchy (Súľov Hills), Javorníky and Kysucká vrchovina (Kysuce Highlands). Žilina is a centre of significant political, cultural, sport and public health care institutions. As for the number of join stock companies and limited companies, Žilina keeps third position in Slovakia. The Slovak Commercial and Industrial Chamber in Žilina is the second biggest in Slovakia.
