The waffle maker was a hit with the kids! We loved the staff, so helpful and kind. The rooms were just there for us to sleep, so the size worked well for a family of 5, we even added a cot for a minimal fee and it worked out for us. It is quaint area and parking was right in front of the door. We loved that it was close to everything! We were able to do a lot in 2 days! We had a great time and planning on returning soon!

Today it is best known for its beautiful coastline, its world-class aquaruium and from te many John Steinbeck novels set here, including Cannery Row ant Tortilla Flat. The Monterey Peninsula has the largest population of sea otters on the California coast. The abundance of marine wildlife visible from the shoreline is one of the primary attractions of the region. Seals, sea lions, and sea otters are visible all year-round, and migrating whales are commonly seen in the fall and spring months. Alvarado Street serves as downtown Monterey's main drag. It has superb restaurants, a selections of bars and unique shops.
