Situated near the Aura River, this hotel is 500 metres from Turku Cathedral. Flat-screen TVs and iPod docks are in all rooms. Wi-Fi, sauna and gym access is free. Refurbished in 2011, Scandic Julia’s air-conditioned rooms have wooden floors, satellite TV and blackout curtains. TVs offer MP3, DVD and digital camera connectivity. Julia's on-site restaurant Bistro Julienne serves classic dishes and seasonal specialities. The hotel bar offers lighter courses. A 24-hour shop sells drinks, snacks and toiletries. Stephen

The hotel was hosting many families with small children when we visited and managed to provide prompt, attentive service despite the number of guests. The location was perfect for accessing the river walk and excellent restaurants.

Verified traveler

The hotel property as such is quite nice and appears recently renovated. Somewhat awkward placement of the lobby on the 2nd floor. Convenient parking. Good breakfast. Absolutely disgusting dinner buffet that was supposed to be street food themed but which was so bad we would not eat it.

تورکو, فنلاند
