The property is nice and most of the staff members are lovely. One bad problem was mold in the air conditioning system which made us sick. The room cleaning itself was perfect. Some of the wait staff were very slow and did not seem to care. Others were lovely. One issue was overcooking fish so it became dry. In other restaurants it was not a problem. So it is not a St Lucia problem.

The dining room was not great. It was difficult just to get the proper order when ordering from the menu, we were brought someone else's meal and it took forever to be served. The 7th Heaven coffee shop was fantastic. I went there once and the girls knew after that what I drank and started to make my coffee. Thanks ladies.

First evening was very noisy with an event above our room. We were 'warned' about the noise at check-in but when you cannot hear the movie you're watching above the music upstairs, it's more than a little disappointing.

I liked most of it. The staff was nice and courteous, rooms were clean so it was the facility. My con will be food services. There were VERY limit on its menu. most of them didnt have the ingredients for most of the popular dishes. Then there was not much to see around.

Gros Islet (English: Large Island) is a community near the northern tip of the island country of Saint Lucia. Originally a quiet fishing village, it has gone on to become one of the more popular tourist destinations in the country. Settled by the Carib (and possibly Arawak), the area was first identified as Gros Islet in a French map from 1717.
