Cayena Guyana

Cayenne is the capital of French Guiana, on the northeast coast of South America. Its 17th-century old quarter blends influences from France, the Caribbean and Brazil. Next to the ruins of the French colonial fort Cépérou, on a hill overlooking the Cayenne River from the top, there are Creole-style houses with tropical colors. Shops and cafes can be found on the main shopping avenue, Avenue du Général de Gaulle.
