About the destination

Almirante is mainly used as a starting point to travel to the islands of the archipelago. From there you can take the maritime taxis and the ferry to Isla Colón. There are 2 bus terminals, one located in the center of the city, for buses from Changuinola and nearby communities. The second station is located on the outskirts of the city known as "El Cruce", to take buses from Panama City and David. In addition there are private transportation services to move to Boquete and Puerto Viejo
