Day 2: Quito: Flight To Coca Deep Amazon

After settling into comfortable rooms with jungle views, guests can take part in a variety of activities, including a hike to an observation tower to spot wildlife and enjoy an Amazonian sunset, or a kayak ride through the Napo River at sunset.

Day 3: Amazon: Local Activities
Breakfast at the lodge
We depart by motor boat to the Saladero de Loros in the Yasuní Biosphere Reserve. During the tour, you will be able to observe different species of parrots. Then, walk along the Periquito Trail to observe up to 5 species of parrots, parakeets and macaws in the clay lick. The place also attracts mammals such as monkeys and jaguars. The morning ends with a visit to the Kury Muyu Intercultural Interpretation Center, run by women from the community, where you will learn about Kichwa culture and purchase crafts.

After lunch, enjoy a boat ride along the Añangu stream to spot wildlife. In the afternoon, board a catamaran on the Napo River to learn about the legends and traditional songs of the Kichwa community, while enjoying wood-grilled snacks.

Breakfast at the lodge
Start the day enjoying the sunrise during breakfast and visit sustainable community projects to learn about the Kichwa worldview. Explore the forest trails and observe the diversity of flora and fauna, including kapok trees and monkeys. After lunch, walk to the second observation tower to observe birds and other species.

In the afternoon, relax and enjoy a typical Amazonian dinner, with dishes such as maito and chontakuru (roasted chonta worms). After dinner, join an exciting night walk to observe insects, reptiles and mammals active at night.

Day 5: Amazon: Transfer To Coca Airport Flight To Quito.
To end your stay on a perfect day, you can participate in the wayusada ritual early at 4:30 am, where Kichwa families share the sacred wuayusa, transmitting their ancestral knowledge. You will learn about traditional songs and, optionally, you will be able to realize your dreams with a mamakuna. Then we will return for breakfast before the transfer back to El Coca in comfortable motorized canoes, again enjoying the landscape of the Ecuadorian jungle.

Day 12: Guayaquil: Baltra (✈) / Arrival At Santa Cruz De Galapagos – Twin Craters And Turtle Ranch Excursion

Your English-speaking guide will accompany you to the airport for your departure to the Galapagos.
Meeting and welcome by your guide upon arrival at Baltra airport and then transfer to the capital, Puerto Ayora. You will travel to the upper part of the island of Santa Cruz to discover the twin craters, volcanic formations caused by the sinking of the surface layers of the earth. Observation of flora and fauna. Continue with a visit to one of the local ranches with free-ranging giant tortoises. You will then pass through an end-to-end lava tunnel for a distance of 300m underground. The lava tunnels, splendid volcanic formations, show by their magnitude how these islands originate from large underwater volcanic eruptions.

Embark on a boat to observe blue-footed boobies, frigates, seagulls and other endemic birds. Snorkel in Franklin Bay, where you can see a wide variety of colorful fish of all sizes, sea turtles, small sharks, blue sharks from the creek which are completely harmless. You will disembark to observe the vegetation of the island as well as the marine iguanas, to continue towards Las Grietas, lava fissures, you will also visit the salt mines and a natural pool where the salt waters of the sea meet the fresh water of the upper part of the island.
