The hotel is divided into two unique buildings. The historic main building from 1897 exudes romantic charm and elegance with its national romantic style, while the modernist wing, built in the 1950s, reflects the design traditions of the time. Here, we offer a timeless Scandinavian style with clean lines and functional solutions, characteristic of mid-20th-century Danish design. At First Hotel Grand, you will find the seafood restaurant “Grand’s Fiskerestaurant” and Grand Bar. Here you can indulge your taste buds and relax with a well-shaken cocktail. Start your day in the restaurant and enjoy the large and well-prepared breakfast buffet. The hotel also features a Salon, Lounge, fitness center, two large halls, and several smaller meeting rooms, perfect for conferences, parties, concerts, and other enjoyable events. We offer 8 different room categories, ranging from standard single rooms to Junior Suites across 135 rooms. All rooms are individually decorated and vary in size and style. For parking during your stay at the hotel, we refer to the many public parking spaces around the hotel and in the parking garage behind the hotel at Store Gråbrødrestræde 12. Please note that due to the age of the historic buildings, they are not accessible for guests with mobility impairments. First Hotel Grand also does not offer accessible toilet facilities.

Good hotel to stay

Very good hotel at Odense, Denmark... It's location is walking distance from Odese Station. Also very close to the town center... Staffs are very helpful and cooprative... Breakfast sprade is fantastic and fresh....

Highly Recommend if going through Odense

This was a couple's stay during a trip through Denmark. There was an inexpensive parking garage which was a very short walk from the hotel, the room was clean and felt nice. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the breakfast was phenomenal. This is the part of Denmark on Fyn Island where the HC Andersen House is, but it's also just a lovely area to walk around as well. Nice restaurants and pubs are nearby too (I hear this hotel's restaurant is nice, but we did not do dinner here, just the included breakfast).

First floor room is best!

Bought a standard room and was placed on 3rd floor. Room was small and far from lobby. We paid a little extra (10%) and were moved to a room on first floor. The first floor room was bigger, more comfortable and near the lobby, bar, and restaurant. We greatly enjoyed it!
