Centrally located in Thimphu. Felt genuinely Bhutanese. Well appointed. Staff were so helpful, and friendly.

Its location in downtown would be of value to tourists. The staff are well mannered and helpful. The restaurant is multi cuisine. However, this hotel is not good for business travelers. Their Internet service is poor. Their internet access log in screen does not appear always. One has to manually access the log in screen by typing the IP address. Their system logs you out frequently. So you have to log in again and again. Often the system will give a message saying your internet limit is utilised. No such limit is specified to your in advance. When you call the reception, they will offer to reset so that you can continue browsing. You have to log in again after they reset. It was very frustrating for me. The hotel does not have any private space to park a vehicle. The open space visible on the foreground is the municipalities public space around clock tower. So if you rent a car or a friend visits you, then they have to pay 10Nu/half hour towards parking.

Great hotel in a wonderful location

Beautiful rooms with all amenities. The entrance might look small, but the hotel rooms are very well maintained. Large, spacious rooms with excellent bathrooms. Great value for money too.

تیمفو, بوتان

تیمفو پایتخت و بزرگترین شهر بوتان است. این شهر در بخش مرکزی غربی بوتان واقع شده است و دره اطراف آن یکی از دزونگخاگ‌های بوتان، منطقه تیمفو، می‌باشد. پایتخت باستانی پوناخا در سال ۱۹۵۵ به عنوان پایتخت توسط تیمفو جایگزین شد و در سال ۱۹۶۱ تیمفو توسط سومین دروک گیالپو جیگمه دورجی وانگچوک به عنوان پایتخت پادشاهی بوتان اعلام شد. این شهر در جهت شمال-جنوب در ساحل غربی دره‌ای که توسط رودخانه رایدک تشکیل شده است، که در بوتان به نام وانگ چو یا تیمفو چو شناخته می‌شود، گسترش یافته است. تیمفو از نظر ارتفاع چهارمین پایتخت بلند جهان است. به طور غیرمعمول برای یک شهر پایتخت، تیمفو فرودگاه خود را ندارد و به فرودگاه پارو که از طریق جاده‌ای در حدود ۵۴ کیلومتری متصل است، وابسته است. گردشگری، اگرچه به اقتصاد کمک می‌کند، به شدت تنظیم شده است تا تعادلی بین سنت، توسعه و مدرنیزاسیون حفظ شود. تیمفو شامل بیشتر ساختمان‌های سیاسی مهم بوتان است، از جمله مجلس ملی دموکراسی پارلمانی تازه‌تأسیس و کاخ دچنچولینگ، اقامتگاه رسمی پادشاه که در شمال شهر واقع شده است. فرهنگ بوتان به طور کامل در تیمفو در ادبیات، مذهب، آداب و رسوم و کد لباس ملی، تمرینات صومعه‌ها، موسیقی و رقص و در رسانه‌ها منعکس شده است. تشه‌چو یک جشنواره مهم است که در آن رقص‌های ماسک، که به نام رقص‌های چام معروف هستند، در حیاط‌های تاشیچو دزونگ در تیمفو اجرا می‌شوند. این جشنواره چهار روزه هر سال در سپتامبر یا اکتبر برگزار می‌شود.
