Aguaje palm swamps host vigilant guardians like the jaguar, considered the son of the aguaje, the anaconda, the world's largest snake, the owl watching from its perch atop the tree, and the black caiman guardian punishing anyone who dares to cut down female aguaje palms. Once we reach Lost Cocha, we will ascend to a huge observation platform. From here, you can admire the immensity of this magical place and observe two types of aguaje palm swamps: dense and mixed.
