Day 1: Arrival Split

Arrive at Split Airport, meet and greet by our local representative who will assist you with your car hire and inform you how to proceed on your departure day. Drive to your hotel for check-in and start exploring Split at your own pace. Take a walk through the royal palace and you will discover many remnants of the past and see why UNESCO put it on its list of cultural heritage. Once you exit the Diocletian’s palace, make sure to take some time for yourself and experience the laid-back lifestyle the locals are famous for. The city is bursting with life, so visit all of its other attractions, from the beautiful beaches to a variety of festivals, exhibitions and concerts taking place on city squares.  Overnight in Split.

Day 2: Split

Enjoy your breakfast and get ready to explore the area. Start with a short drive to Trogir, a superb town with a history that began in ancient Greek times. Trogir, a stone city situated on an island connected to the mainland and the island of Ciovo by bridges. The old part of the city, protected by UNESCO, is a true paradise for architecture lovers. Trogir is sometimes called a city museum because of its rich cultural heritage and intact authentic architecture. Dominating the city’s aesthetics, the 13th-century cathedral of St. Lawrence is one of the most beautiful Trogir monuments, famous for the Radovan portal, which is also the most important medieval portal in the eastern Adriatic and this part of Europe. The city loggia from the Renaissance, small narrow streets and squares, multiple restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and galleries along with cultural and music events, give this town a Mediterranean atmosphere. Overnight in Split.

Day 3: Split

After breakfast another free day to explore the area. We recommend visiting the island on Brac or Hvar.  Brac is an island in the Adriatic Sea within Croatia, with an area of 396 square kilometres, making it the largest island in Dalmatia, and the third largest in the Adriatic. Brac is known as a tourist destination, for the Zlatni Rat beach in Bol, the marina in Milna, the white limestone which was used for the palace of Diocletian, the stone mason school in Pučišća, the oldest preserved text written in the Croatian language, the author Vladimir Nazor, its olive oil with protected designation of origin, the Kopačina cave near home to the most UNESCO heritage of any island in the world.Hvar is one of the jewels of Croatian tourism, Hvar Town is the capital and largest settlement of the island of the same name. Its rich Venetian architecture harks back to its glorious cultural past, while people watching on the largest square in all of Dalmatia is a very popular activity today. The rich cultural heritage which includes the oldest public theatre in Europe continues today with the Hvar Summer Festival, whose locations include the Franciscan Monastery, Veneranda, the Arsenal and theatre, and Hanibal Lucic garden. Don’t forget to climb to the Spanish Fortress for fabulous views of the town and the Pakleni Islands.Overnight in Split.

Day 4: Split – Mostar (160km – 2hrs)

Today after breakfast check out and drive to Mostar, a city in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Located on the Neretva River, the city will amaze you with its incredible landscapes, architecture, customs, and lifestyle. Take a walk across the Old Bridge, explore narrow and winding streets, visit the bazaar, Turkish house, and beautiful mosque, and feel the magic of the Orient. It is a city where the traveler from the North breathes the first rays of the Mediterranean mixed with the scent of lemon and sea, while traveler from the South awaits the first scenes of the continental hinterland.  Overnight in Mostar.

Day 5: Mostar – Medugorje – Ston – Dubrovnik (160km – 3hrs)

After breakfast at the hotel leave Mostar behind and drive towards Dubrovnik via Medjugorje. Medjugorje is a town located in southwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina, about 25 km southwest of Mostar and 20 km east of the border with Croatia. The town is part of the Pitlik municipality and geographically part of Herzegovina. Since 1981, it has become a popular site of Catholic pilgrimage due to Our Lady of Medjugorje, a purported series of apparitions of Mary, mother of Jesus, to six local children that are supposedly still happening to this day. After spending a few hours in Medjugorje it’s time to go to Dubrovnik. We suggest stopping on the way in Ston, known as a salt-producing town. Ston was an important military fort of the Ragusan Republic, and the defensive walls are world-famous. The 900 metre encircles the area for three miles - the second largest in the world after the Great Wall of China.  Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 6: Dubrovnik

After breakfast you can start exploring the outstanding city of Dubrovnik. You can stroll its streets and search for the best things to see inside its protective walls. However, we suggest you join a sightseeing tour of the old town, one of the most beautiful medieval towns in the world. Protected by magnificent medieval walls, the atmospheric capital of the historic Republic of Ragusa is a treasure trove of palaces and churches. Built in stone and famous for its beautiful city walls and historical monuments, the city itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Alternatively, you can book our optional, two-hour Dubrovnik city tour, and discover the hidden secrets with a private guide. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 7: Dubrovnik – Trogir (265km – 3hrs)

Today, after breakfast, check out and drive to Trogir. If you did not get the chance to see this beautiful city yet wander around, visit the most important landmarks, and indulge in the divine scenery created by blue waters surrounding Trogir. Overnight in Trogir.

Day 8: Trogir – Split Departure

Spend your last morning in Croatia savouring your breakfast. After check-out from your hotel and drive back to Split Airport where you will return the rental car and prepare for your return flight.
