Day 1: Arrival In Colombo
Arrival to Sri Lanka, Colombo (Katunayaka) International Airport. You will be greeted by H.O.T. (House of Travels and Tourism) representative, and your driver at the airport. After the Meet and Greet, you will be transferred to your first Hotel Stay.

Day 2: Sigiriya (210 Km/3 To 4 Hours)
Morning boat ride in the Lagoon
The Negombo Lagoon is a vast expanse of water dotted with several islands. Aquatic is plentiful in the form of various types of brackish water fish. Lagoon crabs and prawns. Mangrove plants and other types of marsh plants are found in the islands as well as along the lands bordering the lagoon. Various types of water birds as Herons, Cormorants, and Strokes are an added attraction to this visitor. While on the boat tour, you will be served an instantly prepared refreshing beverage.
Once you are done with the Lagoon Boat Ride you will be transferred to Sigiriya. En route to Sigiriya visit the World’s Heritage site Dambulla Cave Temple.

Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, comprised of 5 caves and a picturesque facade carved into the side of a steep rock face, Dambulla Cave Temple houses ancient paintings depicting the Buddha and his life.
Home to the famous Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Iron Wood Forest, and the Rose Quartz Mountain Range, Dambulla provides historical adventures and breathtaking sights in a region UNESCO has designated the Cultural Triangle.

Day 3: Sigiriya
After breakfast at the Hotel relax and later get ready for a Traditional Village experience
Cycling tour, Catamaran ride, experience traditional village life
Enjoy a scenic Catamaran ride in the reservoir, a relaxing trip with plenty of nature and wildlife with the guidance of an ‘expert. You can experience traditional village life and a walk through the village and vegetable crops in the Area. Next, you can get a special experience of the pleasure of village life in a village house.
If you would like to do the Jeep Safari in Minneriya you can inform your chauffer guide and pay for the supplement, he will arrange the Jeep safari upon informing the same to the office. The safari duration will be approx. 03.00 Hours. By 02.30 PM be ready at the National Park entrance.
Or else, you can directly go back to the Hotel and relax after the lunch.
Optional: Jeep Safari to Minneriya National Park/Kaudulla National Park/ Eco Park These national parks in Habarana are the best places in the country to see wild elephants, which are often present in huge numbers of elephants.
(Good to know: Elephants are moving to one of those national parks. Therefore, we will select the best park to see more elephants, evening time would be idle to see many elephants)

Day 4: Kandy (100 Km / 3 To 4 Hours)
After the breakfast at the hotel in the Morning if you would like to you can do the Sigiriya Lion’s Rock Fortress climbing. You will have to pay for the relevant supplement for the excursion and the guide will be accompanying you through the climb.
Optional: Sigiriya - (Lion's rock), is a large stone and ancient rock fortress and palace ruin in the central Dambulla of Sri Lanka, surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs, and other structures. A popular tourist destination, Sigiriya is also renowned for its ancient paintings (frescos) which are reminiscent of the Ajanta Caves of India. It is one of the seven World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. It is also declared by UNESCO as the 8th Wonder of the World.
Notes: If you wish to climb to the top, it will take approx. 2-3 Hours
Later check out from the Hotel and transfer to Kandy
En route visit Ayurvedic Village in Matale Ayurvedic Village - During early historical times Sri Lanka known as Taprobane, was world-renowned for its Quality Spices.

Day 5: Kandy
After having the breakfast at the hotel, get ready to go for the Temple of the Tooth, by 09.30AM you can witness the Pooja ceremony at the Temple.
The Temple of the Tooth
The Sacred Tooth Relic Temple or Dalada Maligawa is a monumental architectural heritage of not just Kandy but the whole of Sri Lanka. The Relic Tooth was brought to Kandy by King Wimaladharmasuriya-I who took it out of Delgamuwa in Sabaragamuwa.
Notes: We recommend wearing modest clothes during the visit to the temple of the tooth. Flowers to offer can be purchased along the walkway to the temple. Proper attire is clad for the visit. You may take your cameras; footwear should be removed at the entrance to the temple and there are safe storage facilities available.
Kandy city tour by Tuk-Tuk tour and shopping are nestled amidst verdant hills, interspersed by the Mahaweli River and the beautiful Kandy Lake as a centerpiece, Kandy is certainly the most picturesque city on the island and most visited. Still retains much of its old-world charm and traditions, crafts, and the typical Sri Lankan way of life. Afterward, join your guide and continue the rest of the tour. Visit Batik and Wood carving center. Get an insight into local crafts and arts, or finely cut gems, you are like to find them in Kandy to your heart’s content.
Notes: It will take approx. 1-2 Hours (The Tuk-Tuk ride will be a short tour which is limited to 20-30 Mins out of the whole city tour duration)

Day 7: Tissamaharama (160 Km /4 Hours)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Tissamaharama.
Check in to the Hotel in Tissamaharama, and then get ready for the Yala Jeep Safari. Be at the National Park entrance by 02.30 PM. The safari duration will be approx.03.00 hours.

Day 8: Beach Extension
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to your selected beach hotel/ Get ready for your departure flight.
